Book Review - The Return of the King - submitted by Beregond5The ROTK is where the actual climax of the trilogy occurs, and it is also the book which concludes the LOTR story. It is also separated in two parts, but they should become one again as the story is about to conclude. It could be considered as the best when it comes in terms of writing and in keeping the reader interested, because there are lots of plot twists which are guaranteed to make the reader read on continuously. Even though some of the chapters tend to be a bit lengthy and tiresome, since they are mostly attempting to close some loose threads of the plots, it should be noted that this is also the book with some of the finest chapters in the whole trilogy, too. Finally, at the very end of the book, the reader may also indulge himself to read the Appendices. They give out some very interesting information such the Races of Middle-Earth, events that were only described subtly in the trilogy, the fate of some of the characters and language pronunciation.
